A lot of people are looking to take advantage of you so you need to go into this with your eyes wide open. To avoid getting taken for a ride, here are a few things for you to keep in mind:

1. Check The Site Layout

If you want to avoid the paid survey scams, check to make sure the site layout looks professional. If you feel that the site hasn't been updated in a while or is poorly designed, it's best to stay away from it, unless you have info from a reliable source that they are a good site.

2. Check The "Contact Us" Link

A lot of survey sites will have this feature to allow you to contact them, take advantage of it! Ask them any questions you have and see how long it takes them to answer you. Based on that you can get a better idea of how professional they are, especially if you send more than one message. If you're not impressed with their customer service, stay clear, things won't get better once you're a member.

These tips should be enough to help you avoid several paid survey scams, you can't be too careful in this industry. You need to make sure you do your due diligence, but if you stick with it and join the right sites, you can make a bucket load of cash.
